Charles "Lucky" Luciano was born on 24 November 1987 in Lercardia Friddi, Italy and died on 26 january 1962 of a heart attack at Naples international airport. He was one of the most famous gangsters of the 20th century and is considered the father of modern organized crime for splitting New York into five mafia crime families and for establishing the first ever commission. He was the first official boss of the modern day Geonevese family and was best known as Italian-American gangster with businessman like approach. Meyer Lansky his friend and associate helped him in developing the 'National Crime Syndicate'.
